Massachusetts Assisted Living Association (Mass-ALA)
Assisted Living plays a unique role in the senior living landscape and faces various regulatory restrictions and lack of public understanding and visibility. Mass-ALA partnered with Denterlein to raise awareness and articulate the industry’s residential model and values to the public, and government and industry stakeholders.
Denterlein supported the legislative and regulatory efforts of Mass-ALA by developing a communications strategy that leverages the organizations leadership, emphasizes member contributions to the industry, and provides accurate information to key government stakeholders. Denterlein also provided aid with internal communications and B2C visibility using traditional and non-traditional marketing tools.
Through media relations, member trainings, development of a communications toolkit, and traditional and non-traditional marketing methods, Denterlein equipped Mass-ALA to articulate their unique value proposition, spur action, and raise awareness to potential families, and other stakeholders. These efforts also helped shape regulations that maintain a valued residential model.
