Survey: Women & Power

When we first explored women and power in Boston, it was 2007. Professional women didn’t leave home without their Blackberries and kept some version of a “rolodex” on their desk, or for the technologically savvy, in an excel spreadsheet. Tweeting and hashtags had yet to enter our universe. It was a time of finding a way to “have it all,” as women ascended the proverbial corporate ladder, convinced that the view was better from the top.
